Review content:
There really aren't any other Greek restaurants around Davis. This is where I first had Pasticcio...think a creamy mac 'n' cheese with ground beef. I fell in love this this dish that I had to try it home. Of course I had to find the most complicated recipe. I only made it once. Now whenever I go out for Greek, I compare the pasticcio with the one from the Symposium. Nothing ever lives up to it. I also loved the spinach pizza with 3 cheese. When I wasn't chowing on pasticcio...I was sharing this pizza with friends. The last time I dined here with my old roommate we enjoyed pizza and salads as we reminisced for hours. If you're looking for something different, give the Symposium a try. It's not downtown with all the other places...but nothing in Davis is ""far"". For goodness sake...take the Unitrans.
Pros: pasticcio...did I mention the pasticcio?
Cons: can get crowded
