I went in a few days ago to buy some bread and get a quick bite for lunch. The bread is great - no argument there - but the lunch was a disaster. I ordered the hummus and vegetable sandwich, since I really like hummus and I wanted something light. Well. What I received was a single slice of bread (good bread, of course) cut on the diagonal into two pieces. One piece had a very, very thin smear of hummus spread on it - thick enough to see, but not enough to taste. The other slice was bare. In between the slices were fresh veggies. The veggies were fine, but if all I wanted was a no-dressing salad I could have paid a whole lot less than the approximately $8 that I paid for this. I ate half of it, then tossed the rest in the trash. Without any hummus (effectively), it just was not worth eating. When I asked about the sandwich preparation, I was told that my sandwich was prepared correctly. I thought that they might have botched the job, but they did not. they meant to serve it as I received it. I called later and spoke to the day manager. He was quite nice and offered me a store credit, but I declined this; I told him that the best thing they could do, to serve their customers, would be to take this item off the menu. It is a rip-off. And it does not taste good, either.
