Review content:
My first experience is my wife had a minor fender bender.
long story short after about 6 months the paint peeled off and exposed the bare metal that was rusted. I washed and waxed the car once a week. it was definitely lacking proper sanding and priming when they painted.
I should have known better than to waste my time.
I was driving around town getting estimates on a new paint job for my other car. this was the last stop after 4 other shops.
I drove up around back when i first pulled up. As I first entered the rear entrance there were cars everywhere. It looked very disorganized and there were at least 100 cars currently and waiting to be worked on. I suggest looking in the back first before you get an estimate there and you will see what i am talking about. I thought immediately that my car was not going to get the attention and detail I wanted.
I figured I would still an estimate because i was there anyways.
I pull up to the area where you get estimates and walk in.
the guy names Jim or Tim was sitting at his desk and doesn't look at me. I start asking him if I could get an estimate and he continues to the conversation not looking at me but at a computer screen. then he finally turns and tells me to talk to the front secretary across the room.
after talking to the secretary I am told to wait. after about 10 minutes or so. Jim says he is ready. he has not smiled or introduced himself the entire time i was there. he almost seemed like he was angry with me for asking him to do his job.
when we get to my car Jim says that its not worth getting my car repainted(My cars NADA value is $11,200). I then explain that I plan on keeping my car for a long time. he then rolls his eyes and shakes his head and sighs.
I am thinking this employee is very rude and unprofessional.
He the looks over my car for at least 15 minutes. There is nothing really wrong with that but the other 4 shops i went to were much quicker. i think the longest was 5 minutes.
After he is done looking at my car I figure ill let him finish the estimate even though his rudeness and unprofessional manner already made my decision to take my business elsewhere
He tells me it will be another 20 minutes witch is already longer than the others. he then sits at his computer and talks on the phone. 20 minutes go by and I tell him thanks anyways and i leave.
