I've now been here personally twice, and tonight will be the last night I will ever go here. My sister in law lives around the corner from here, and she's been there three times, and her friends have gone numerous times and everyone virtually had the exact same experience I will describe. First off, the food is very good. People seem sweet when you enter. Price seems cheap. All sounds good - they will push you bottled water (not the fancy kinds, but Poland Springs) that arrive OPEN (obviously refilled with tap water), but one could forgive them for that. However, without fail, the bill arrives, and unless you study it carefully, I guarantee you that you are paying $10-20 more than what you owe. Their logic goes like this - they charge you random extra amount on each dish, which they later try to say is ""tax"". So it goes like this - you order half a chicken, which the menu clearly says is $5.00. On the bill, it will say $8.00 - when you protest, they will tell you - ""oh, that's the tax"", or ""oh, that's the old price"". Now, that's not all - when everything is added up, they AGAIN charge you tax at some random rate like 12% (so you're paying taxes squared at least) - when you protest, they will play it off as a mistake. If you go with a group of 4, they will add another fee for ""SERVICE CHARGE"" - today, our bill was supposed to be $58, but the first bill was $78 - when protested, they refused to remove many of these charges. We had to say we were going to call the police for them conducting illegal business, pay what was owed, and left while they were yelling at us in Spanish. What an ugly experience - they lost customers who would have returned for sure for the food - we just couldn't take being ripped off EACH TIME we go. Come on - your customers are not idiots. We're never going back - by the way, this happened when everyone I went with is fluent in Spanish. How sad that they conduct business this way. Pros: Good food (BUT SADLY NOT WORTH BEING RIPPED OFF FOR) Cons: ILLEGAL SCAM OF ADDING TAXES AT RANDOME RATES.
