Review content:
At an upscale restaurant excellent service should be a requirement. The service at Daniel's (Bellevue) was excellent, but not sensational. That Sunday night was my parent's and my first time dining at Daniel's; my sister had been there before. We ordered the Bacon Wrapped Scallops, which apparently comes in three. Our waiter informed us of this after we were served with the appetizer. What he did not mention was that he charged me ($3) for the extra scallop without asking whether I had wanted another one. (I don't particularly like eating scallops, so I may have passed on the offer.) Being that it is an upscale restaurant, one could argue that it may seem to be impolite to ask the guest such a question; however, I would have appreciated it if he had mentioned it to me before hand, as being the guest, I should be the one in charge of what goes on my bill. All in all he was very attentive, and met my expectations.
Pros: view, online and phone reservations, ambience, parking, service
Cons: restroom location (all the way on the private dining side of the building)
