Review content:
I recently started taking my vehicles to King's Grant Citgo after my regular mechanic moved to another shop fairly far away. The first time I went in for service, I was told that my water pump was leaking and would need to be replaced. The second time I went in (for another of my vehicles) I was told that the oil pan gasket was leaking and needed to be replaced. The third time I went in (same vehicle as the oil pan gasket) I was told that the intake gasket was leaking - this just two weeks after I was told about the oil pan gasket. By this point I was suspicious. I was also rejected on my state inspection and was told the brake pads on the rear were bad. This after being told that the vehicle passed and was ready for me to come pick it up. Imagine my surprise to get there and find a rejection sticker. I took it to another shop and was told that the intake gasket was fine and that the rear pads were no where near needing to be replaced. I also checked my receipt to find out that they had checked off my free state inspection on the VIP card, but only took off $5.00 on the receipt. I was also astounded at the environmental/shop fees - outrageous!! I will not be taking any of my vehicles to this shop again and will be driving the extra distance to my old mechanic - someone I can trust not to rip me off!!
