Review content:
I took my two young daughters to Dr. Minter about ten years ago. I was never thrilled with the Dr.'s bedside manner, but I was a young mother and just did what my gp advised me to do. However, it all got very ugly one appt. I was there with daughter, then three, and asked Dr. Minter a question about the medication he was prescribing. He got quiet for a minute, looked at the floor, and threw the chart and papers to the ground. He started actually yelling at me, saying things like ""If you were to get on a plane, you wouldn't be asking the pilot if he knew how to fly"". And things like that. I was so upset that I started to cry as I tried to defend myself. My daughter, being three, and seeing this, was very upset but that didn't even occur to Dr. Minter. Anyway, long story short, I let him know we wouldn't be coming back. When I left, his receptioniist and wife, looked at me apologetically. I figured she was the only person who could handle that job. This guy has an erratic temper and doesn't believe in answering his patients questions. From what I heard from others, I was not an isolated situation. Even other dr.'s had negative things to say. I truly would have thought he'd be out of business by now. Perhaps he figured out how to manage his temper, and be open to patients questions.
