Pinzimini is located in the Westin in Ballston and it's kind of off the beaten path as the store front is facing an alleyway. I went early on a Sunday evening around 6:00pm and there only a handful of tables occupied. Of course our service was quick and we chose to dine al fresco since the weather was great. The decor is very nice with lots of wine bottles and water walls. Definitely sets the mood. The menu was fairly small with only a few options for appetizers, salads, pizzas, pastas and a few steak/fish entrees. Of course I chose pasta as it's my favorite. I ordered the potato gnocchi with scallops and spinach. The boyfriend ordered the lobster carbonara. I really enjoyed my dish and even had leftovers. Bryan didn't enjoy the lobster as much. He said the lobster had a ""funny taste"". However, I didn't notice that. Also the bread they serve, with olive oil, balsamic, parmesan and sea salt, was veryyy good! I probably should have eaten less bread and I wouldn't have had leftovers! Prices are reasonable as pasta dishes averaged around $15 and the most expensive entree was the ribeye at $22. Pros: lovely decor, great pasta dishes, quick service Cons: small menu
