I have been around the block when it comes to hair salons. I have been everywhere from Stella to Van Michael's to Rocco Donna to Salon Blu. I was starting to feel that despite my rampant search of the best stylist, it was not going to be found here in Miami. I went to Gustavo Briand's studio yesterday to see if there was anything out there I had not yet seen with regards to a hair stylist. Well, I found it! Not only is the salon super clean and accessible, but Gustavo is a fabulous host to ALL that walk it. I have been to some other salons that make you feel like they're doing you a favor to cut your hair...Gustavo was confident about his work but easy going enough that you could walk in off the street and ask his opinion on your hair. I went in unhappy about my hair and came out with a smile on my face that can only be achieved with genuine happiness. He and his staff made the four hours I spent there amazing. I would highly recommend him to anyone, man or woman...who is looking for a light at the end of the salon tunnel. I know that I have found my salon...for good! The color is exactly how I wanted it and the cut is truly amazing. The prices are beyond fair and the free conditioning treatment he's giving away to new customers is fabulous. Try him out if you're on the search for a new and improved you. Try him out if you're tired of looking over processed. Try him out if you're going to a special event (he apparently does amazing up-dos). Just try him out! He's worth the ""risk"" and you will leave with a smile on your face that is too die for :)
