Not too long ago I finally decided to teach myself guitar. At that time I lived practically across the freeway from Parker so it made sense to shop there for my guitar needs. They have tons of equipment for guitars, keyboards, drums, and the like but don't appear to be to willing to assist their customers. I always have to wait to get noticed just so I can pay. They always are too busy doing something that is not customer related. I've spent a lot of time there looking at guitars but not once did someone approach me and ask if I needed help.
Besides that their prices are higher than other music stores in town. If you just want to look then Parker is a good place to go.
