8/26/06 Their strategy to battle Netflix is a good one. For $14.99 a month you can go in and rent 3 movies at a time for 5 days. The only drawback is that they must be MVP marked which are movies that are 4-8 weeks old. Each week on average another 12 movies are added so you will never run out of movies to see. Since they are not out of the way, with careful planning no special trips are necessary so cost wise this is very convenient and affordable. I do not have to wait to receive my movies, and I can easily rent 30 plus movies a month. This compares to Netflix where getting to watch 12 movies is the norm. I highly recommend this strategy for movies instead of cable movie channels. You can see what you want when you want and the choice is greater and newer. Pros: MVP program Cons: lots of scratched disks
