With a little more funding, this could be the Harvard of the West. The teachers are very high quality, among the best in the world, and the students consistently rate as high as those at Harvard, Stanford, etc--and keep getting better. Many programs are top three or four in the nation, notably finance and accounting. Add in the one-time National Champion football team (1984) that regularly looks like they could do it again and an environment that values faith on an equal footing with other methods of learning and you have a unique university experience that will tower above the rest. For a religious university, this school is surprisingly open on all matters except morality. (Family is a big value.) Diversity-wise, there is a huge contingent of international students, perhaps more of a variety than at any other university. The school's motto is ""Enter to learn, go forth to serve."" Pros: Rel. low cost., Great people., Excellent education. Cons: Rising rent +, Job competition =, Most likely need loan
