Review content:
I should have known when my trouble started early by having to ring the cowbell at the rental counter. Nobody appeared so I had to get someone from the front desk to go find the rental attendant in the back. When he arrived, he was much more interested in watching girls enter and exit the dressing rooms than in helping me and my kids. When we tried to use the skis, my daughter couldn?t get down the slopes. The skis were literally sticking to the snow because they had no wax on the bottom. I had to rent new skis for her on the mountain, and with new skis she did fine. When I returned the skis I explained the problem to a manager and asked for a refund on the pair I had to replace. The manager insisted that there was nothing wrong with the skis and blamed the problem on the manmade Wintergreen snow. She told me I should have had the ski shop at Wintergreen repair the skis if I had a problem with them. When I explained that I didn?t think Wintergreen should have to repair skis I rented from the Ski Center, she told me it shouldn?t be a problem because ?we?re on a first name basis with them? ? I guess so if they send customers up the mountain with bad equipment. It looks like they had to change their name once already ? probably for this type of customer service.
