My only hesitation about adding to Round Rock Muffler's good reviews is that it'll become so popular that I'll have a hard time getting my cars in for servicing!
I initially went in with my 2005 Mini Cooper for a loose tailpipe and was pleasantly suprised that they could fix it on the spot for virtually no charge (I paid them extra anyway because it was worth it...not because they charged me). Since then they've done oil changes, inspections, prepped my 2003 Honda Pilot for a cross-country road trip after sitting in the driveway for months, and even found me less expensive options for Cooper brake pads and tires than other shops. If they feel like you're better off taking your car elsewhere, they'll TELL you that and give you your options.
These guys are the best small-shop mechanics in Austin and I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone. Don't let the name fool you....if you want something done to your car or truck, call 'em and ASK if they can do it. They'll be straight up with you.
