DHL made one delivery attempt to my apartment on Friday - or so they say... I received no notification slip - and no second attempt was made. On the following Thursday, I called to track my package - for which I paid additional charges for express delivery - only to get a ""yeah... they should've delivered again on Monday..."" They said I could expect it ""tomorrow before 5p"". So, I waited... and waited... and waited. 5 O'Clock came, my package did not. I called HIGHLY ANNOYED that I had spent my day waiting on my package - my business checks - and the very helpful woman said, ""yeah, I'm not sure why they didn't get it to you today. Normally you'd have to wait until Tuesday - Monday's Memorial Day - but I apologize for the inconvenience and will put a note on this account that your package is to be delivered ""tomorrow"", Saturday, by 2pm... Again, 2 O'Clock came, my package did not. Now convinced my checks have been stolen, I called to demand my checks be placed end my hand by end of business day today - only to discover that I was misquoted (2pm) and that the Oakland location actually closes at 12n on Saturdays! So, 3 more ""tomorrows"" will pass before I can see if this is the day my package will come. Will NEVER use DHL as my delivery service again. NEVER. Nor would I recommend them to anyone else. UPS, FedEX and USPS are the delivery services for me, hands down.
Pros: 1 of the 3 Customers Service Reps was friendly and TRIED to be empathetic and helpful.
