This dentist and his office are horrible, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! I went to their office when I had a crown come out on a Saturday and my regular dentist wasn't open. First, they gave me one estimate on the phone and then, only AFTER the crown was cemented back in, did they suddenly tell me the bill was over twice the amount quoted! Not once while I was in the chair did Dr. Chiha say that anything he was doing would be an added expense to what was quoted, something I've never encountered at any other medical or dental office - they *always* tell you when something is going to cost more than what was initially quoted because they want to make sure they'll get paid. On top of the suddenly increased bill, they also told me they didn't take my insurance and yet, when the paid bill was submitted and I heard back from my dental insurance, I was told they were contracted, participating provider with my plan and that they should have never billed me the several hundred dollars beyond their allowed charges. But when I spoke with the dentist's office, asking when they would refund the money they overbilled me? They flat out told me that since they didn't consider what the insurance allowed as enough, they weren't going to refund me the overpaid amount! Even though they are bound by the contract they signed to do so! Highly unethical and unprofessional behaviour, if you ask me, which is why I'm giving them such a negative review.
