This morning I walked into Salon Z to get a typical haircut and walked out w/ beautiful hair extensions that I've always wanted. I started my morning off with a facial - they use all Aveda products - and then intended to get a haircut, but quite spontaneously opted for the hair extensions after consulting with the stylist and owner, Christine. She was extremely professional and understanding of my budget and obviously highly experienced. I was thoroughly impressed. I'm the type of girl who has never paid much money for a haircut nor do I do much with my hair, and today I walked out of that salon feeling vibrant and gorgeous. The entire staff was welcoming and made me feel right at home. Many of the salons I've been to in NYC are quite pushy and are constantly trying to sell you their products or services and I never felt that pressure at Studio Z. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone. Especially if you've always considered hair extensions, just go do it. I paid $400 and that included my 60 min. facial, extensions, and haircut. Truly go and treat yourself!!
