FRAUD ALERT!!! I called this company because they were listed as being located in Beverly, MA. The man I spoke with on the phone told me that the owner liked to handle local customers himself, and that the owner had gone out to lunch and would call be back when he returned in about 20 minutes. An hour later I got a call, but because I was at work I couldn't answer it immediately. Before I even had a chance to listen to the message that was left, I got another call from a different number. Then ANOTHER call from yet another number. In less than an hour, I received eight calls from five different numbers, all from different moving companies - three of which were out of state - and all said that they had gotten my information online. Only one of them was actually polite and reasonable and helped me figure out that the person who had originally answered the phone had straight up lied to me about having the owner call me back and had in fact sold my name and number to a lead generating service. I know it could have only come from this company because I never signed up for anything online and the only other company I had spoken to just gave me a quote and took down no information other than my first name. I have already reported them to the FCC and the local police, who recommended that I file a complaint with City Hall (for an unlicensed, fraudulent business) and the Better Business Bureau. For this intrusion on my privacy and fraudulent use of my information I am going to do everything I legally can to take this company/person down.
