I normally get along with doctors, but when one is rude, I have to tell.
The service:
When I got there my baby was cranky so after 2 minutes they told me I could come back. I thought that was nice, but NO they stuck me, a five day old and a two year old in a file room, because all the others were full. The man at the desk was so rude about it too.
The Doctor:
We are each entitled to our option. Mine is you don't need to give the STD shots to a newborn. Especially when death is in the side effects and if you wait until they are five years of age you don't have to worry.
She verbally attacked me telling me I was not only endangering my baby but my family and the town, thus the country. I didn't say I didn't want any shots and she even admitted to the fact there was no way short of someone raping my 5 day old that she was going to get hepatitis B !! She went on for a half hour, got ticked off at me left the room, came back and started to chew me out again. So I asked her if she was even going to look at my baby. (Who I had a real concern about!) She did but didn't stop the lecture. I should have left when she started, but I stayed and will NEVER go back!
After I talked to a couple of my neighbors and they said the couldn't believe I took my kids there that she has a bad reputation. Wish I had known, so I am telling you!
PS. I also have to say I don't know how the nurse works there, she was sweet as pie!!!!!!
