During such a hard time...they were always there at the right time, and that's what matters most. We had a death in with distant family member at another funeral home and after the service we received at the Pietszak funeral Home the other funeral was nothing compared to my dad's. We had the choices for personalizing our father's funeral, it is really a difference when you have a choice and you can make it your own, thru the little things that matter - like memorial cards ... they didn't have the particular picture that I thought of - so they made it especially for us. They made a video of my dad's life with music that we were able to select, then there was a candle with both my mom and dad (my mom passed away 10 years ago, and we didn't know about Pietszak's) but they still included her with my dad's service. They even helped with paperwork, months after my dad died. The service didn't stop the night of the burial like it did elsewhere. I guess its the difference of family owned and operated versus corporate owned - you can always tell a difference and this is one place that really makes the mark. It is a shame that we had a actually use a funeral home because we lost our father, but we definitely found the perfect one when we had to do it. I am still just amazed at the level of service we received, we had their full attention and we all felt comfortable calling when we thought of little things, but we called and they were able to reaffirm we were doing everything right. But when you have to call a funeral home, this is the one!
