Review content:
I've been to the Manor several times and there are definitely some pros and cons. A pro...the stylists listen and make sure they understand what it is you're looking for. Con...the gossip between stylists, assistant, etc. I understand that they work together and it's only natural for women to chat, but I don't want to hear about who did what with who while I have 40 foils in my hair after a long day at work. Also, another con is that the overall appearance isn't all that great. Yes, it's a gorgeous Victorian house and the set up is nice, but the color room, for example...the walls are scuffed up and there is no artwork on the walls at all. Not very interesting...just bland walls. Maybe it's me, but I find it to be really boring and uninspired. However, a few more pros....the assistants are great and very friendly. Also, Joell is fantastic. She gets my color spot on every time (and I usually get highlights and low-lights) and is super friendly and fun. She's the reason I keep going back there. I usually pay about $150 (without tip) for highlights, lowlights, wash, cut, and blow-dry. I'd definitely recommend Joell....ask for her!
Pros: Joell is amazing, service is great
Cons: Gossip between staff, sort of cold/bland inside
