Review content:
I would have given University 8 Cinemas four stars if they didn't stop selling tickets fifteen minutes after the movie starts. I take my four year old son to the movies pretty often, and he gets antsy during the previews, so I like to take him a little late on purpose. He was so disappointed when I took him to see Chicken Little and we had to wait until the next day because they had stopped selling tickets 15 minutes after the start of the movie. I have learned my lesson, I will not do that again. They also will not give you a small cup with a lid unless you pay for the kid's combo snack package. I think that is ridiculous. I buy large drinks to share with him and he sometimes pills them. You would think it would be cheaper for them to just give you the cup than to pay someone to clean up the spills but I guess they don't think of it that way. Popcorn, candy, and drinks are expensive at any movie theatre. Otherwise, it is a nice theatre. The don't keep it too cold inside, the chairs are comfortable, and the popcorn is fresh. They need more parking though, I always have to park over in front of Hastings and walk.
