Review content:
When I want a new book, I always check at Corner Book Exchange before I pay full price at Hastings or Barnes and Noble. Their paperbacks are half the cover price and all hardcover books are five dollars. They will also pay you one quarter of the cover price for your used books as long as they are in fairly good condition. They have a huge selection for such a small store and have sections devoted to every genre, and even a section right up front for Oprah's Book Club books. Most of the people who work their are nice, but I have had some problems with the man who works there (there is only one man) not wanting to buy some of my books. They were popular best sellers in good condition so I just took them back later when a younger girl was working and she bought them all, no problem. I don't think the man is very knowelegable on what is popular right now but it's okay. I just save my books to sell when someone else is working.
