Review content:
I was heading home one evening, going north on the New York State Thruway. Suddenly, my car began to overheat and I saw smoke coming out of my hood, so I pulled over to the side of the road. There I was, all alone, in the middle of the night. In a panic, I called 911. The police arrived quickly along with a tow truck. I couldn?t believe how fast the response time was. To think, in the middle of the night the tow truck driver was woken up and came to my aid in a matter of minutes. I was very impressed. Unfortunately, when the tow truck driver opened the hood he said that one of my belts was broken which is what caused the car to overheat. I had to be towed off the thruway. The tow truck driver, Artie, told me that he would be able to fix my car first thing in the morning. So he loaded my car on the flatbed and we drove to his shop. I will admit, I had reservations about being alone with a stranger in the middle of the night, but Artie made the experience very pleasant. I had heard horror stories from friends about their towing experiences and mine was quite the opposite. Not only was the driver kind and friendly but the tow truck was new and very clean. He discussed the options I had with me. I decided that the most cost effective option for me was to spend the night in Kingston and head home in the morning after my car was fixed. We soon arrived at the Perry's Towing shop. He unloaded my car and then offered to help me find a place to stay. He called a hotel and booked me a room. He then offered to give me a ride to the hotel and when we arrived he went in with me to make sure I had a room and he even got me a business discount. I could not believe how accommodating he was. This all says so much about what they believe at this family business. The next morning, I called the shop and they were already working on my car. I was back on the road before noon, heading home. Overall, the people at Perry's Towing made an experience I had always feared into one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had. Thank you so much for all that you do for your customers. I will be sure to recommend you to all of my friends!
