Businiess name:  Qdoba Mexican Grill

Review content:
I begin by making two disclaimers: first, that the rating above ONLY applies to the food and second, that I am not comparing the burritos and salads at Q'doba to any that I've eaten during my 14 years living in Texas and traveling regularly through Mexico. But, I will compare it to what I've had at other Q'doba's in the US, and to other ready made, quick (if not fast) food establishments. I found this particular store to have fresh ingredients, good quality foods, friendly and nice (but not burrito-expert) staff and a nice amount of natural light that brightens the interior. I ordered a taco salad and had a bite of my boyfriend's shredded pork burrito and found both to be fairly equal in use of good, fresh ingredients. The greens of my salad definitely did not have the crunch of freshly-picked garden lettuce but they were still crisp, if not a tad bit browned on the edges. Still, I give it a good rating for food since it seems to me to be of a better quality than the greens in other ready made salad joints (or even in the refrigerated areas of grocery stores and cafes). I even found their hottest, habanero sauce to have the tiniest kick of spice, a welcome change to the hot sauces in other restaurants that seem nearly tasteless. I did find it odd that my salad, comprised of two hand fulls of iceberg lettuce, a table spoon of corn and bean relish, a dopple of habanero sauce and a dopple of chicken breast, can hardly be expected to compare with the 2lb burritos they were serving -- and yet the price difference was only 10 cents. So my feeling is that if the greens had been a tad bit more fresh, if they had charged less for the little salad, and if they had cleaned up the trash on the floor, I would have given this place a higher over all rating. As it is, I choose to rate this place based mainly on the quality of the food (for a fast food establishment.) Pros: Pretty good and fresh ingredients, quick Cons: Trash on floor of restaurant
