I had just moved into a new house and had a brand new 42 inch TV. I wanted it mounted above the fire place. I was unsure of the cost, how it would look, and the difficulty of the project. I was able to find Honest Install by googling about installing a TV over the fireplace. It was fortunate that I happened upon Chris.
He did the whole thing in an hour. He put the wires so that they wouldn't just run down the back. It cost more, but thank goodness I did it. It looks fantastic.
A lot of people could have installed things just as well and could have done a good job, but the main thing with Chris is that he sat down with me on the couch and wrote down everything. He wrote down how to work the TV and DVD player. I let him know I was going to purchase a Wii, so he wrote down how to set it up. He gave me that information so that in the future I would know what to do.
The fact that he put in writing these technical things which can be overwhelming to me was over and above normal service. I have referred back to that sheet many times. He also told me to keep his number in case I have any other problems. I called back for a minor thing, and when I apologized for not knowing it myself he said it was no bother at all.
I don't get a lot of service people who take that time and effort to help out. He is a busy guy, yet he sat down with me to write down and go over everything until I was satisfied and understood everything. he even showed me how to set up and stream movies through Netflix. I am not a tech savvy person, but now my family members want me to teach them how to do what he taught me.
