Review content:
My sister and I came to Nashville from Chicago for a short visit. We had read about White Trash Cafe on City Search and put that on the top of our list of places to visit. We had the best time there. The food was great. I only wish I could have eaten more. The nana pudding was to die for. You feel welcome from the time you walk in the door till it's time to leave. The zany lady at the register should be in the movies. The waitresses were excellent. They did everything but cut the meat and feed it to us. And they probally would have if we asked. Our coffee mugs never were empty and believe me we drink a lot of coffee. The young man who owns the place was friendly and spent a lot of time talking with us. We would have loved to buy a cook book of all his great recipes. The cole slaw and cucumber salads were my personal favorites. If he ever decides to open a Cafe in the Chicago area it would be great to work for him. I hope he opens more Cafes like this. The other diners were also very nice. Everyone was chatty and seemed to be enjoying themselves. The prices can't be beat. If you go bring along a camera and take a picture in the bathtub that sits outside.
Pros: The whole exprence was a pleasure
Cons: He has no plans to open one in Chicago. I'd be applying for a job.
