Review content:
Not ""Handicapped Friendly"" I was threatened with arrest, for using a small electric scooter to navigate the facilities at the fairgrounds! (My scooter is a 2 wheel, stand-up type, maximum speed is 12 MPH) I was told that only scooters with a SEAT were permitted. My disability is documented at Maryland MVA, (and I was willing to show the documentation) I can stand, but have limited use of my left knee. This small scooter is easier to transport, is less intrusive in crowded areas, and easier and cheaper for me to use than the bulky, wide, and heavy 4 wheel type used by persons with more severe handicaps. I feel that this restriction, which limits my ability to enjoy the facility, is unwarranted. Pros: Large area, good for flea markets Cons: Restrictions on Handicapped mobility devices
