I've tried two different stylists at this place, as I really wanted to like it, since it's so close to where I live. Alas, I've stopped going here, and here are the reasons. First, I asked the front desk person who was their best person with the most up to date knowledge of cutting hair. She recommended Teresa, so I made an appt with her. Not only did she do a very bad job, but she did it in record time, like she was short on time or something. I felt like I was rushed through. Upon getting home, I had to cut the long lengths of hair that she missed - this is how rushed a job she did! Apparently, she wasn't the best, she was the person available at that time. I called a couple months later and asked the front desk person the same question and got 2 completely different names. I went with Sudie, who was OK the first time, and then seemed to rush me through the second time, not even cutting my hair the same way. She charges too much and pressure you into scheduling an appt way too soon. I like to make my appts when I feel I need them, not at the time that will make the stylists the most money. On a side note, once I was waiting for Sudie and Teresa was in the foyer talking to another stylist about how she hates doing color for people, because it takes too long and some people don't tip, and how she likes to do haircuts because she can quickly get them in and out. Uh, yeah, quickly in and out because she's not doing a very good job, and maybe people aren't tipping because you're doing a bad job? I had tipped her when she did my hair, but more out of habit and the fact that I didn't know exactly how bad it was until I got home. Anyway, there's better places out there, so if you're looking for a good place to go to, I would keep looking. Pros: ? Cons: Charge too much, not up to date on styles/techniques
