As a chef and a North Carolinian - who has eaten his share of actual BBQ - I could not possibly agree less. This place slings badly-cooked, fatty, poorly-seasoned crap, served with the pastiest, gummiest mass-produced bread they can buy, featuring that stupid, pointless battery-acid of a sauce they call ""The Man""; a silly, flavorless test-of-manhood sauce composed of equal parts crushed red chiles and bad judgement. Yuck! One time in your life, eat at Old Lexington #1 in Lexington, NC, Stamey's in Greensboro, or Bob Petty's Oakwood Drive-In and then try Dixie's. You'll never touch this crud again.
