I was very excited to find an apartment that was located close to my employer and my family members who live in Florida and even equally as excited that the rent was affordable. I contacted the company and had plans to tour the complex and see the perspective apartments. I went a week later to visit the apartment and was extremely upset to find that the apartments were under new management. This did not deter me however, as I was hoping that the new owners would honor what the old owners had promised me as the rate for rent. I was told that I would be contacted the next day to hear their decision. In the initial meeting with Tony the office manager, I was told that even though the new management had taken over, the rent would still include some of the utilities. When he called the next day, not only was I expected to pay $595 for rent, I was also expected to pay $30 more for water. This was very disheartening considering I was expecting $539 to be my rent and that water, sewer, trash, and pest control would be included in that cost. I have an excellent credit score, so this should not have played any factor in what my rent would be. I am upset that there was no way for me to contact the owners of the apartment complex. I thought that they might be considerate of what the previous owners had quoted me. If you want an apartment complex that is considerate of not only their tenants but their future tenants, I don't recommend Logarto!
