Marj is a dear friend of mine, but I must admit, it was my excrutiating back pain- not curiosity or the desire for a test session- that motivated me into her practice. I have been living with slight scoliosis and tense back and shoulder muscles for most of my life... but over the past few years, the pain has become more chronic and intense. As a full-time student, I sit, type, write, read, sit, type, write.... much more than my DNA would like me to. Although I try to counter this with yoga, walks, stretching, massage, physical therapy.... it's just remained at a semi-tolerant level. When the pain behind my shoulder blade tried to kill me, I finally asked Marj for a set appointment.
