Review content:
City Provisions is located in that area just west of my neighborhood, which is Lincoln Square. For me, eating good food, especially organic food, is important to me. When I was moving, I knew that eating carefully was even more important but how do you do that when everything is packed, and then worse, when you have to flee because of the fumes from the rehab of the unit below you?
During that time, City Provisions became my alternative kitchen, where I was able to pick up healthy, prepared foods free of artificial preservatives or other additives. My house hosts also ate the same way I did, so we had many City Provisions meals.
There is such a dearth of organic food stores in the area where they are located, on Wilson near Ravenswood, so they've been a great addition to the neighborhood. I've told a lot of my friends about the deli, and they've all been shopping there.
You can also just get coffee and dessert, and eat there, too. There's something there for everyone.
