I was really excited about having my 33rd birthday party at this new so called ""hot spot"". I reserved a party for 40 of my closet friends and arrived promptly at 10PM, when my party was suppose to begin. I was told that i was going to have a private suite...It was NOT a SUITE!! I was on lanes 1-4 and they pulled a curtain to section it off from the other lanes, it was far from private! When i arrived my lanes were not ready and i had to wait for the previous party to be over. As my guest started to arrive i started to receive calls that they were not being allowed in, because they are wearing boots!! WTF!!! its a bowling alley- the shoes are coming off. After tracking down the Management and arguing with them and the ridiculous door man in LONG FUR coat. Only 10 of my guest were let in! I spent most of the two hour party arguing with that foolish doorman and the incompetent management staff about admitting my guest that I had paid for on my credit card. They REFUSED to let them in. It was such a horrible experience and they were very unaccommodating to paying customers. I couldn't believe the unwillingness to to admit my guest. They said it was the doorman's discretion to admit guest, however it looked like doorman's discrimination to me. He was arrogant and said that they had a dress code- no bagging jeans, white t-shirts, gold chains or work boots...NONE of my guest were wearing any of this! AND its the middle of winter so they had on coats! if they were wearing these things with the exception of the boots the doorman would have never known! The only other thing that it could have been was that they were BLACK!! This place is definitely trying to keep a certain crowd out- THEY ARE THE WORST!! and I writing a letter to complain and disputing ALL and any charges that i incurred from trying to enjoy my birthday at this unwelcoming establishment. Pros: Nice design Cons: FOOLISH DRESS CODE
