I was so excited to try this place. I purchased a Groupon for Jacob Wirth on the strength of their reputation for wiener schnitzel. But it was sub-par, with a tangy lemon cream sauce that didn't belong on it. Should have asked for it on the side, but I scraped enough off, and there were some naked edges where I could taste just the schnitzel, and it just didn't do it for me. Likewise for the spaetzle. I've had better luck with Knorr's from a package. Good caesar salad, though, with plenty of anchovies (I asked for extra). Starter ""nibbler"" with sausage and sauerkraut was totally unremarkable. In short, not a place I'm eager to try again.
