I left my two babies with Charlotte and they came home bouncy and you could just tell from there behavior that they were treated well. They had clean little faces and paws, which when I asked how they stayed so clean, Charlotte told me she uses a warn washcloth to wash there face after eating and she cleans there paws upon returning from a walk.
If you do not like the idea of a cold kennel environment, then leaving them in the warmth of Charlotte's home is the way to go.
