My cat had been suffering and unfortunately had to be put to sleep today. I brought him in to Dr. Read for the Euthanasia because of all the positive reviews I read on here. I was very sad (obviously) and asked a couple of questions about my cats condition. Dr. Read was very cold and got annoyed at my questions! He RUSHED me through the process of saying goodbye to my kitty that I've had for 13 years, and got super annoyed when I asked if I can at least have a couple minutes with my vat between the anesthesia and the injection to put him down. I've honestly never ever come across a vet with such a lack of compassion, and an attitude like he had. I was shocked to be honest that a vet can be so disrespectful at such a sensitive time when I'm standing there in tears.
