Review content:
My mouth waters when I think of the food at Maijean. It's elegant, succulent, delicious and yet, not pretentious in the least. I had the mussels for my appetizer from which I sucked every bit of the creamy garlic sauce. My husband had the plate of assorted French cheeses. We also tried the scallops and even the sweetbreads. It was the most amazing food I've ever had. For an entree I had the shrimp that was the special and my husband had the duck. I think if it wasn't such a nice restaurant, he would have licked his plateclean. Can't say enough about this beautiful little place. The decor is romantic, yet comfortable. The waitstaff are highly trained and not obtrusive. Sure hope this place withstands the recession. It's worth every penny.
Pros: Highlights are the ambiance, the food presentation and just the delicious food
Cons: no cons
