Review content:
We brought our Toyota T100 in to service. The key wouldn't start the ignition. It took 30 minutes of trying and we finally got it to turn and start. We figured we had to replace the ignition and cylinder. We brought it in without an appointment as we were afraid if we turned it off, we wouldn't get it started again and would have to go thru the hassle of towing it there. They were accomodating, my husband dealt mostly with Chad. We dropped it off and asked for an estimate, they said they would have to get back to us after they talked to a mechanic. They gave an estimate of $450-$500 to change an ignition cylinder! The part was $123 and he said 1-3 hours of labor. Well is it 1 or 3 hours, that's a pretty big difference especially at $103/hour for labor. The other dealership said it would be 45 minutes of labor. It's such BS because these mechanics know exactly how long it takes to replace the parts. Chad was extremely sarcastic and condescending, unprofessional, and unbelievable. After a few conversations, my husband was so upset, we decided to get our vehicle even if we had to tow it. We got there at 7:30pm, service dept. closes at 7pm, but the truck was there with the key in the ignition. It started with one turn, and started each time after. So they had fixed it already by tightening it which probably took a few minutes, but of course they didn't tell us this. They wanted us to pay for having the whole part replaced when that's not what it needed. Here it's a week later and the truck still starts up on the first try every time. We will never go back here again, they are dishonest and have no integrity.
