I've been with MFCU for over 10+ years. They gave my family such a hassle in cashing the personal check I gave to them even after I authorized the transaction. The teller was so incompetent and inconsiderate. The teller totally ignored what I wanted to be done. It seems that the staff at the Santee branch could not function without the branch manager around. I would NOT recommend opening an account with MFCU. I was loyal to MFCU for so many years. But it was very disappointing to find out (late in this stage) that they are not loyal to me.
Cons: the staff (tellers) were incompetent and not client-based oriented.
