Review content:
Don?t let the outside fool you, it is nice inside and has been recently redecorated. I have a culinary arts degree and rate the food as superb. I would honestly say it?s the best ?authentic? Thai in the Memphis area. They do have some Americanized dishes for the less adventurous, but you can get almost any Thai dish, even if it?s not on the menu. Bangkok Alley and Thai bistro are nice in their own right but anyone who has been to Thailand realizes the tastes at those respective places are good but westernized. Jaja?s owners are friendly, quirky, and will keep you coming back for more. You will always get a chance to meet the entire family. The mother is from Thailand and is the only cook. Because of the one person kitchen there can be long wait times when busy, but it is certainly worth it. If you are looking for real Thai style food this is the place. If you are looking for Thai inspired dishes you might want to look elsewhere.
Pros: Authentic Thai, JaJa (the owner and chef), free refills on thai tea (others charge)
Cons: Location had to find, service can be slow at peak hours.
