I was a patient of Shiela Wendler's for a couple of years. She was not only emotionally abusive but she seemed not to have faith in God or anything spiritual: a sign of a rather shallow and not so intelligent person. Despite Sheila Wendler looking like a homely, plain-faced, transgendered person/ transvestite(male to female) she/he/it had the nerve to critisize my appearance and would practically call me ugly and blatantly laugh in my face when I would reveal my insecurities to her. At the time I was an extremely emotionally fragile (just released from a mental hospital for severy body image issues that caused me much pain) and this ANIMAL would break out in hysterics when I told her if she could give me some sort of therapy to make feel that I was o.k. looking. One time I showed her a picture of my boyfriend and the masculine, flat faced Wendler told me, ""I thought your boyfriend would be fat,"" implying that I was fat. I have witnesses who came with me to my sessions who can back up what I am saying. This ""doctor"" really thinks she can say anything and can get away with it. She should be looked at more closely. She is one of the most wicked doctors I have ever had. Thank God for the internet so others can be aware of her malice. I was just a kid and this cruel Wendler object would add more to my hurt. Now that I am grown up I realize she was just insecure about her own lack of good looks and jealous.
