Review content:
I asked for my boiler to be checked for the winter season. I was told it would cost $99 to do it and, as this is my first radiator heated house, that the tech would show me how to make sure the system worked (i.e., the water was high enough).
Once the tech arrived, in addition to the $99 price, they charged me another $70 to clean the rest of the unit and told me another technician would have to be scheduled if I wanted to be sure the system was functioning. The first tech just vacuumed the thing, turned on the pilot and checked the CO2 rating. He didn't even know whether I could damage the system if I used it when the water wasn't up to the fill line.
I called to ask that question. They told me a service tech would call me back with the answer. It has been 5 days--still no call. So I paid $170 dollars to have my boiler vacuumed and still don't know whether my system can be run.
I call that expensive, unhelpful and dishonest.
Cons: Expensive, unhelpful, dishonest
