I went here because I thought I had strep throat. The front staff did their part well. Was taken in by a nurse who never made eye contact while she did the preliminary check ups. She left then moments later I could hear a man talking outside about me and my temperature, saying that ""its more than likely strep based on his body temperature."" In comes a girl, not a man that says she is a nurse's assistant? She does the whole check up and wasn't bad at it. She leaves and later I hear the same man talking outside with the lady that just checked me. He comes in and says he wants to check things or what I felt check her diagnosis. He starts telling her that I should be put on another medication instead of what she was going to prescribe that he ""almost always prescribes for strep."" He says 5 days, a pill a day and done. He looks in my throat and makes a face and asks me if I had strep before, I said a few times. He then asks me if I ever consider having them removed. I told him I'd rather not. He scuffs and immediately leaves. What kind of professional advice is that?! She leaves and comes back telling me the prescription and tells me I should consider having them removed to prevent this from happening again. I just don't understand why a Nurse's Assistant is the one being professional while the ""doctor"" (by the way his name was Bob) who is checking on the Nurse's Assistant's work is acting completely unprofessional? The reason why I am writing this is because my strep throat didn't clear after 24-48 hrs I was told. I will be going back to hopefully get another prescription or something to fix this problem. Then I'm never returning here again. This was probably my fourth time going here but I'd rather drive further away than have to deal with that ""doctor"" again. Pros: convienence Cons: bad doctor
