Took my 55"" LED TV here for a warranty repair. After 2 weeks, I called for a status update and was told that he had just ordered the parts (a power supply and inverter). I wondered why it took 2 weeks to order the parts, but I figured he might be busy. After a month, I called Sanyo's warranty department to find out if he had actually ordered parts... to find out that he lied to me and had never ordered the parts. I talked to Sanyo again 2 days later to find out that he had finally ordered the parts. When I called him to ask why he lied to me about ordering parts, but got his voice mail, so I asked for a call back. Two days later he calls back claiming that he had faxed in the order and Sanyo had messed it up. He swore to me that he didn't lie, and that he runs an honest repair shop. Unfortunately, the part that he ultimately ordered wasn't a power supply or inverter... it was the main board. When I got there to pick the TV up, I went inside and saw no one there. After about thirty seconds, his head pops up from behind his desk with a very groggy look on his face... he was passed out drunk!! He talked nonsense to my son and I while we carried the TV out to my truck. When I got it out there, I noticed that the front of the TV was very scratched up!! I asked him about the scratches because they weren't there when I brought the TV in. He looked puzzled, then grabbed the power cord and said something about the power cord being scratched up... He wasn't making sense and I could smell booze on his breath. DO NOT TAKE YOUR EQUIPMENT TO THIS SHOP!! The owner (Paul) is a liar and a drunk!
