My boyfriend and I have been regulars here for over a year and we've always thought the food was pretty ok until now. We went for lunch and he ordered a veggie entree (tofu, veggies and rice noodles). What came back had no tofu but was covered in meat instead. Did I mention that he's vegetarian? He nicely sent it back, pointing out that it was full of meat. The waiter went to the kitchen and came back with another plate. We immediately noticed that it still had meat, although less of it, so we're already thinking that they missed some when they picked it out (rather than re-making it); however we give them the benefit of the doubt and call the waiter back over, hoping that they just got the order wrong (again). The waiter again goes to the kitchen and comes right back with what appears to be the same plate. For the third time, we find meat (and meat remnants) in the noodles. This time, we ask outright if he just went to the back and picked the meat out. Couldn't understand his response but had something to do with meat remaining in the bottom of the pan between entrees and he disappeared quick. Meanwhile, all of the wait staff are now aware of what's happened and are laughing in the corner. We finally told them to take the entree back and keep it. We were both beyond grossed out at this point (don't even get me started on the fight with the fruit flies over whose table it was - although I think they eventually won) and thoroughly disappointed in the quality of service we received. On the upside, we weren't charged for the meal....but who could eat after that?
