It's hard to find someone who can cut wavy hair. And my hair is very wavy. I wear my hair really short in the summer and she took care of making my ""do"" attractive and low maintenance. As the weather turned cooler, I decided to try to grow it out. I took a photo out of a magazine ad to Jess King and we talked about how to make it work for me. She was patient with my paranoia and gave me a great transitional cut that will allow me to grow out my short short cut gracefully and with little maintenance. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this salon, where they are professional, but not so stuffy that you feel like another number walking in their door. She works hard to make sure the cut/style is what I'm looking for and won't be satisfied until I am satisfied. I only had one other person cut my hair for the last 15 years, and was nervous about letting anyone else touch it. Jess put me at ease right away and I'm very happy we met. She is someone I would recommend to anyone who wants personal service with customer satisfaction as a mutual concern. Another thing I like about this salon is that the boss is on site and works well with clients as well as employees. It seems like it is a fun place to work, and that improves the ambience of any place of business.
