Bottom line with Dix Hills. They make a good sell. Maybe a little slick (used car sales). The install is smooth. But that is where it ends.
Ongoing service from their office (specifically the Jericho office) is horrible! Not only is the owner a hot head and tries to blame you if he is too busy and can't set up servicing effectively....the staff that answers the phone and is supposed to have some 'customer service' skills have none.
For install...Dix Hills rates average with everyone else. Just make sure to not have any payment plans. Save yourself the headaches of dealing with their office and owner and pay it all up front if you can.
For service... Contract with someone else! Again not worth the headache of the false promises they make, the misinformation they give and their finger pointing. It is too bad, because there field service technicians are not bad. But... the office/owner you do not want to deal with.
