Review content:
Let me say I have had extension done by many people, and she is one of the most interesting stylists I have ever met! I went to her salon in Long Island city in 2005 for a consultation. I thought she was way too expensive so I went somewhere else to get my extensions done. I also didn't like the fact that she kept disagreeing with me about the type of extensions that were best for my hair. I wanted the glue type keratin and she suggested microlinking. Eventually she told me to find someone else to do my hair. (I got kind of heated lol) I found this person on craigslist for half the price and needless to say the job was done horribly. Her price was 300.00 included the hair which was not enough to make it as full as I like. So I went to Shanda to fix it, to add some hair to make i t fuller. That was a waste because the original hair they gave me didn't match mine at all, so I had to pay her to remove the old hair, buy new hair and start from scratch. WHATEVER GLUE ADHESIVE ( I STILL DONT KNOW TILL THIS DAY) that chick on craigslist put in my hair destroyed it. When Shanda took out what she put in WITH MICROLINKING my hair was fine. My hair from the glue fusion looked like someone chewed it up. She said the glue was just too harsh for my hair, and I should have listened. So she redid my hair, I payed 550 w/ the hair included. That was 4 years ago. She has grew my hair back, way past where it was in 2005, I had to cut it a few times to catch up to the damaged the CL girl caused but now I only add microlinks for highlights now. I will never let anyone else do my hair because the damage they cause is way more ""COSTLY"" than having the right person do it the right way the first time.
Pros: shes fun to be around, punctual, fast
Cons: theres always someone before, after, or waiting dont be late
