A real surprise for anything north of Bay City.
Your experience starts at the door and continues until you leave, and it is all pleasant.
As mom and pop as it gets: mom greets and takes coats, introduces daughter who will be your waitress, and helps both in kitchen and with service. Pop does the cooking and is a wonderful chef. Daughter will see to your every need.
Dinner starts with home made rolls and three kinds of butter, moves on to soup, relish tray, and if you saved room, your entree (which if like ours will be done perfectly). Key lime pie better than most places in the keys will finish you off.
Small rooms with few tables, done in a very homey theme bordering on romantic.
There is nothing not to like here, and I give 5 stars very rarely.
Open only 4 days and very limited hours 5 to 8 off season, 5 to 9 summer.
